Mick Murray has long been active in the Collie region.
Mick was a Collie Shire Councillor for more than ten years, and is Chairman of the Collie Sports Advisory Committee, President of the Collie Combined Coalmining Unions’ Council, Chairman of the Coalminers’ Welfare Board, a member of the Disability Services Committee and a member of the Youth Advisory Committee.
Mick began representing the Collie region as a Member of Parliament in 2001.
He has served as the Parliament Secretary for a variety of portfolios, including Tourism, Small Business, Sport and Recreation, Education and Training, Regional Development and South West.
As part of a Carpenter Government, Mick will work hard to attract more nurses and doctors to regional areas.
